SALT LAKE CITY — On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the Salt Lake Temple renovation team returned the angel Moroni statue to its place atop the center-east tower, where it will stay for generations to come. The return of this beloved temple feature was made possible by a detailed, careful storage and refurbishment process starting in May 2020 when it was first removed as part of the renovation project.
